The Venturers is a non-profit scouts-related ski group which takes highschoolers to the local ski hills and organizes longer trips to Colorado and Montana.
This site helps this large group of volunteers keep current with ever-changing information about meeting and event schedules. Before the site, they had out-of-date and conflicting brochures and schedules all over, resulting in the organizers spending lots of time on the phone and kids missing out on events.
The design of the site is based on the current snowboarding styles and the Minnesota winter. With tatoo-style typography, grunge type and a large graphic photo, the site has a strong design presence and the kids seem to like it.
